ITF England South West Regional Training: Inspiring the Next Generation
This weekend marked the first ITF England Regional Squad Training Day, launching an exciting new pathway for athletes looking to develop towards future ITF England squads.

Regional sessions were held across South West, Central, South Central and London & South East, bringing together athletes from clubs across the country to train, learn and develop together.
South West Regional Session in Wellington
The South West Regional Session was held at Wellington Sports Centre, with Master Francis Miller leading the session, supported by Mr Lahsen Amassoul and Miss Katie Stone.

With extensive experience across national and international Taekwon-Do, the coaching team delivered a challenging and focused session designed to develop the foundations required for future ITF England athletes.
Training covered key areas including technical development, patterns, footwork, kicking and sparring, with athletes encouraged to work with purpose and maintain a high level of intensity throughout.
11 Evolution Students Represent the Club
Evolution was strongly represented, with 11 Evolution students attending the South West session.
Our students demonstrated a high level of Taekwon-Do throughout the day, showing the technical ability, focus and commitment developed through their regular training.

It was also a valuable opportunity for our students to train alongside athletes from other clubs, experience different training partners and challenge themselves in a new environment.
Building the Future of ITF England
The new regional training programme provides an exciting opportunity to identify and develop the next generation of ITF England athletes, allowing competitors from across the country to train together and work towards future national squad opportunities.
We were incredibly proud to see 11 Evolution students involved in the first South West session, and equally proud of Master Miller, Mr Amassoul and Katie for contributing to the coaching team.
The enthusiasm, effort and standard on display made for a fantastic first session.
Together we grow - and the future of ITF England looks very bright. 🥋🇬🇧
